The Three Wise Men 

Instructions for the Three Wise Men

1. Make dough as per recipe (and follow tips and the basics)
2. Roll out palm sized piece for body. Add a ball of tinfil as picture shows and seal edges. This reduced drying time.
3. Roll a small ball for the head and attact using a cotail sitck for stability.
4. Add clothes as per Basic Clothes Assembly Instructions.
5. Add arms.
6. Add crowns and gold frankincense and myrrh.
7. Dry for two hour on lowest heat (gas 1/2).
8. Half and hour before finish, remove and fill cracks with dough paste. Use soya glaze on face and hands and return to dry
9. Once cool, varnish and paint. Seal with varnish.

Instructions

1 Cup of plain flour
1 cup of Salt
1 cup of Cinnamon
1 Cup of water
1 Tablespoon of cooking oil
Method:
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. 
Add in the water a little at a time.
Roll the dough to ¼ inch thickness and begin cutting out shapes with a cookie cutter.
Place ornaments on cookie sheet and use a straw to make holes for hanging the ornaments.
Dry in the oven approx one hour at low heat. Gas 1.

Cinnamon dough will not be varnished, so the fragrance can linger, so is suitable for children although the model will not last like this.You could decorate them further and varnish after the season is over to preserve them as mementos. Cut out stars, trees, reindeer or hearts for decorating your Christmas tree or as gift wrapping tags or simply hang around the house.
